Who we are

This notice is issued by Abstracten ("we", "us"), based in the Netherlands. You can reach us for any question about this notice or your personal data at contact@abstractglitch.com.

What this notice covers

This notice applies if you received a cold email from us, or if you used one of our interactive tools (a cost, ROI, or readiness calculator) linked from one of our emails or pages. It does not cover a separate product you may sign up for and pay for directly — that will get its own notice.

What personal data we process

• If you received an email from us: your work email address, name, job title, company, and other professional details that are either publicly available or sourced from a licensed B2B data provider (People Data Labs).
• If you used one of our calculators: the email address you type in if you ask for your result to be sent to you, plus whatever numbers or answers you enter into the tool. Those numbers are used only to compute the result shown to you in your own browser — they are not treated as external facts about you, and no AI system sees or processes your individual answers.

Why we process it, and on what basis

• Legitimate interest in reaching out about a service relevant to your professional role (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), for the initial outreach email. You can object to this at any time — see "Your rights" below.
• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), when you voluntarily submit your email through a calculator or opt-in form.

Where prospect data comes from

If we contacted you without you having given us your details directly, your professional information came from People Data Labs, a licensed provider of business-contact data, or from information publicly associated with your professional role.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this outreach. Each acts on our instructions:

• Anthropic — used to help draft the wording of outreach messages and calculator content ahead of time, based on the type of role/company we're targeting. It is not used to read or act on your individual reply or calculator submission.
• Supabase — hosts our application database.
• Railway — hosts our application server.
• Google — used to send outreach email through our own connected mailbox.

Several of these providers operate infrastructure outside the EU/EEA (including in the United States). Where that applies, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for international transfers (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). We have not independently audited each provider's current certification status — ask us if you'd like more detail on a specific provider.

How long we keep it

• Contact and outreach records are kept until you object/unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• If you unsubscribe or your address bounces, we keep a record of that indefinitely — specifically so we never accidentally contact you again, even if the original record is later deleted.
• We do not keep a readable copy of your address in that suppression record beyond what's needed to recognize it — see "Your rights" if you'd like more detail on this.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it;
• ask us to correct or delete it;
• restrict or object to our processing — you can object to direct marketing at any time, for any reason, and we will stop contacting you;
• ask for your data in a portable format;
• lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or your own country's supervisory authority.
